What is the online version
MDCAT Edge is available both offline — as a Windows laptop product — and online at app.mdcatedge.pk. The online version runs in your browser. No download, no installation, no activation key needed to get started.
Both versions share the same content, the same three plans — Free, Pro and Extreme — and the same features. Your progress syncs between them automatically when you are signed in.
Creating your account
Go to app.mdcatedge.pk and tap Sign Up. Enter your email address and create a password — minimum eight characters. Your account is created immediately. No verification email is required to get started.
Your account starts on the Free plan automatically. This gives you one unit per subject with full quizzes, flashcards, notes, score boosters and dashboard access.
Activating a paid plan
If you purchased Pro or Extreme through the offline product, you are entitled to the same plan online at no extra cost. Contact us on WhatsApp with your email address after purchase and we will activate your plan on the online account. Once activated, refresh the app and all content for your plan will unlock.
If you are purchasing for the first time and want online-only access, visit the pricing page, choose your plan and complete payment. Then contact us on WhatsApp with your email and transaction details to activate.
Installing to your home screen
For a native app experience, install MDCAT Edge to your home screen. On Android using Chrome: tap the three-dot menu and select Add to Home Screen. On iPhone using Safari: tap Share and select Add to Home Screen. The app will open full screen without a browser bar from then on.
Offline use after first load
After the app has loaded once, it works without internet for quizzes, flashcards, notes and score boosters. The content is cached on your device. You can practice during power outages, in areas with poor connectivity, or anywhere without reliable internet — just as with the offline laptop version.
Syncing with the offline app
If you use both the online version and the offline laptop app, your progress syncs automatically when you are connected to the internet. Quiz history, flashcard mastery levels and your streak remain consistent across both. You can start a subject on your laptop and continue on your phone without losing any progress.
