Windows is blocking the app — is it safe?

Yes, completely safe. MDCAT Edge has zero detections on VirusTotal. Windows SmartScreen shows this warning for any new app without a paid code-signing certificate — it is not a virus alert. Click "More info" then "Run anyway" to launch. Once more users download it, the warning disappears automatically.

How do I run the app after receiving the key?

We send you a zip file. Unzip it on your Windows laptop and double-click to launch the app — no installer or setup wizard needed. Enter your activation key when prompted and you're in.

Is payment automatic?

No. This page is designed for manual WhatsApp verification. Students pay through the listed method and send the transaction ID plus screenshot on WhatsApp.

Will the screenshot attach automatically?

No. WhatsApp opens with a ready message, but the student must manually attach the payment screenshot before sending.

When will I receive the activation details?

Your one-device activation key is issued after payment confirmation, typically within business hours once your transaction ID and screenshot are verified on WhatsApp.

Can I activate it on more than one device?

No. Each paid key is for one supported laptop/PC only. It is not a multi-device or cloud account licence.

What is the access duration?

Paid access covers one MDCAT cycle only. Reattempt access is not included.

Do you offer refunds?

Is it a subscription?

No. MDCAT Edge is a one-time payment — not a monthly subscription. Use it offline on laptop/PC or online at app.mdcatedge.pk. One purchase covers both.
